Online Maths Tuition

One to one tuition is something that Harrogate Tutors has been providing for many years and this has always been face to face. However, due to the increase in local demand for our service but a lack of supply of exceptional tutors we have had to look at other options so that students still get access to the very best tuition. Having looked at numerous options, taken feedback from parents and students, analysed exam results and much more, we have come to the conclusion that online tuition can be a very effective alternative to in person tuition and certainly a better option than group lessons.

Through our work with Maths Made Easy we can provide online maths tuition with very experienced tutors. The online maths tuition is structured in the same way as our usual lessons. A qualified and experienced teacher will design individual lesson plans for each student. Lessons tend to last an hour and are delivered in real time via video link. Worksheets, methods and practise questions are shared via an online interactive whiteboard which is really easy to use. At the end of each lesson a relevant homework is set and feedback is given to parents. The online tutors will set progress tests and monitor how a student develops through the course and again adapt their lessons to this.
