Numeracy Skills and QTS Maths Tuition

As Easter approaches many soon to be teachers will be looking to book in their professional numeracy skills test. The numeracy skills test is sat by thousands of people each year as it is a requirement if you want to train as a teacher in England and Wales. The test consists of two sections, collectively lasting around 50 minutes. The first section has 12 mental arithmetic questions followed by a further 16 on screen graph and data questions which contain topics from ratio and percentages to box plots and mean calculations. Harrogate Tutors is very familiar with the QTS Maths test that PGCE candidates have to take. Our tutors have delivered hundreds of these lessons.
