BCU Equivalency Test

The BCU equivalency test is for people that are interested in applying to the teacher training programmes at Harrogate Tutors. The BCU equivalency test is not applicable to other Universities or other alternate teacher training paths. As the BCU is an internally set exam, it has not been internally evaluated or standardised. Subsequently, there is no way of knowing if the content is at a GCSE level or, if the pass mark corresponds with the GCSE grade boundaries in any way. A BCU equivalency exam result is not the same as a GCSE grade, and it cannot be used for anything other than gaining entry to BCU's PGCE teacher training programmes.
