City & Guilds Functional Skills

City & Guilds is one of the major exam boards for GCSE equivalent exams such as functional skills for IT, Maths and English. The functional skill exams have been regulated by Ofqual and approved from the UK government, therefore Universities and employers accept this qualification. However, some places such as teacher training courses prefer equivalency tests over functional skills. To access higher educational courses, Maths and English GCSE or GCSE equivalent qualification is required, therefore functional skills have become more popular.


You can sit your functional skills exam at your local testing centre or you can take the City & Guilds functional skills exam online at your home through MME functional skills service.
