Here at Harrogate Tutors, we aim to assist students of all ages (including adults) who are aiming to receive a functional skills qualification. As well as helping students to pass their exams, we also offer assistance with booking the final exam. The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam is the equivalent of a grade C/4 in Maths. For many, having these grades are critical for gaining access to a university course or other course routes.

The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam is very convenient as it will be online, meaning that you can take it from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer/laptop, internet, webcam, and microphone! There is also the option to resit the Maths exam if you fail the first time, so no need to worry if you don’t get it right.

The Maths Level 2 Exam itself is split up into 2 sections, the non-calculator (30 minutes long), and the calculator (1 hour 30 minutes long) paper. As shown in how long you are given for each section, the calculator part is worth more marks. While you don’t have to do well in both sections, it will obviously help if you try your hardest and use the time given effectively to get the best mark possible.
